Policies
Privacy Policy
Short, because there is not much to say: this site collects almost nothing and sets no cookies of its own.
What is collected
Ordinary web server logs, which record the requesting address, the browser type and the pages viewed. That is the standard record every web server keeps in order to serve a page at all, and it is what this site has.
There is no account to create, no newsletter to join, and no form on this site that asks for anything. If you write to the contact address, we have your email because you sent it; it is used to reply and nothing else.
Cookies and third-party scripts
This site sets no cookies of its own. It loads no third-party advertising scripts and no third-party analytics scripts, so there is no session recording, no behavioral profile, and no advertising identifier being written while you read.
If you follow an advertising link away from this site, you are on somebody else’s site under somebody else’s policy. What they collect is theirs to disclose, and the link is labeled before you take it.
Access and deletion
Requests to see or delete personal information can be sent to contact@alanarecipes.com and are handled in line with applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act where it applies. Given what is described above, the honest answer to most such requests is that there is nothing on file beyond a server log entry.
Personal information is not sold, and there is nothing here that would be worth selling.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. Nothing is knowingly collected from them.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever starts collecting something it does not collect today, this page changes first and the date at the top moves with it.
